I paid services through carshield because they represent themselves as a company that would help cover repairs on a car that is out of warranty. when i did a claim that they should cover according to my contract i was denied for no reason. my mechanic stated to carshield that the new issue is not a preexisting condition and send in all the information they needed. he had send in the invoices of the timing chain that was fixed April 14, 2021 and paid in cash by me (bank statement proving i pulled cash out, an recipe with my signature on it stating by mechanic in writing paid for). he even send in the invoice of the starter being fixed on may 3, 2021 (another bank statement i have and recipe). the shop brought me to get the cash out of bank that day so i can pay the repair. i drove the car from April 14 to may 3 and putt 3,000+ miles on it. drove it to VT and back to CT on April 24, if the issue was a preexisting condition i wouldn’t have been able to drive it and put 3,000 miles on it.
