Booking.com — Property in unacceptable state

reserved via booking thinking their presence was a guarantee of serious business. The flat was iin poor condition, for sure not worth the money paid. As soon as I entered via the self chekin I was inebriated by the smell of mold. the toilet seat was broken, the kitchenette was lacking just about everything. and had a crack up the walll, I pulled the sheets on the bed just to verify and found hair. I immediately walked out, called and filed a complaint with booking, who after a day said that the host would not reimburse me.. the host? I reserved thru booking and expected them to take action, not ask the host, it’s like asking the vintner if his wine is good. very poor customer service and unreliable quality of the service provided.
