On May 4 ,2023 I went into work for a double shift – I had to run out to my car for something- When I came back in a customer had walked up behind me and said Excuse me – I turned around just as my manager walked out of the office and said – Can I help you – she had left her debit card the night before – my manager then went into the office and retrieved her card and handed it to her – she then left. Then my manager looked at me and said Why didn’t you take care of her and I said because you already had the situation under control – she then looked at me and said Well you can just clock out and go home because your fired – How can she do this – I didn’t do anything wrong – I’ve been with this company for over a year now – I’ve never been in trouble for anything – How can she fire me for answering her question – She is also engaged to one of our cooks – – they always work the same shift – and if the day care is closed then she brings her 3 year old and puts him in the office or leaves him out front for us to watch. And I answer a question and she fires me for it – That just isn’t right. I want my job back
