First Class on both flights. (Myself and my Wife)
Dear Alaska Airlines
I am referencing our trip from SFO to Maui on November 6, 2022 and return from Maui to SFO on November 20, 2022.
Approximately 35 minutes into the flight to Maui, a lady passenger had a medical emergency. She ended up on the floor in the isle way, was there for approximately another 30 minutes. The flight crew responded using several pieces of medical equipment obstructing the way to the front restroom. Please note; Because I am handicapped, we chose First Class for an easy access to the restrooms. The flight crew moved the lady to the front on the cabin to start an I.V., still blocking passage to the front cabin restroom. Because of my mobility issues I was not able to make my way to the restroom in the back of the plane.
During this time while the flight crew attended to the lady having medical issues, I was unable to restrain myself and had to sit in my seat, unable to get to the bathroom, very embarrassing and uncomfortable, and no dry cloths to change into.
On our return flight November 20, 2022, the plane was 1-12 hour late, and I was abandoned in my wheelchair, unable to go to the bathroom, (the attendant was absent). NOTE: I requested a wheelchair to be (provided by Alaska Airlines) but did not expect to be abandoned for this period.
Consequently, I suffered on the trip going over and return, making my journey extremely unpleasant, awkward and embarrassing.
I am not qualified to tell you how to run your airline, but being a former business owner, when we had ANY customer disgruntle issues, we fixed them immediately!
To make matter right and insure we continue to fly Alaska Airlines, I am asking for two round-trip First-Class Fairs, SFO to Maui and return for my wife and I, and $450.00 for a stipend payment.
We have been a long time Alaska Airlines customer, and even took out a new Alaska Credit Card for this trip, (we charged over $10,000.00 in two weeks). We certainly want to continue to fly Alaska Airlines, and am asking you give this issue full consideration and honor my request
Sincerely,
