AlansFactoryOutlet.com — Having me pay a surcharge is unethical

On 3/13/2021, I attempted to purchase a product from Alan’s Factory. I was able to complete my design but was unable to pay due to an issue with the company’s website. On 3/13/2021, an email was sent to me from Alan’s to try and complete the order but I was still unable to via the email. On 3/15/2021, I call Alan’s to complete the purchase via phone and was told that the product was now $$2000 more than originally priced. I explained to different customer service rep my issue and both said that even with my email record they will not honor the original price quoted. Because the was an issue with the company’s website with did not allow me to pay at the time of my original attempt to purchase, having me pay a surcharge is unethical.
