Despite being a loyal Vinted customer for over 5 years now, I am only now being asked to my identity. I have submitted copies of my British passport yet I am failing the identity check because my British passport has expired. I have checked with the UK Government website and it has ed that even expired British passports are a valid form of identity documents. Obviously I cannot travel Internationally on an expired passport but it cannot be refused as ID. I fail to understand why Vinted and Mangopay, that process payments think that they can ignore current legislation. They are also blocking me from receiving the money for items I have sold. Comply with the law and accept the identity documents I have sent. Also to allow me to receive the money I have earned.
