To whom it may concern,
With all due respect, I am writing this letter of complaint regarding your Rynair’s services.
My two friends and I booked a flight from Athens to Rome Fiumicino to get on time to our flight from Rome Fiumicino to Zadar, however, our experience was a total disaster.
We had so many problems involving the airline, and the transportation.
Our flight FR1299 on the 06062022 from Athens to Rome Fiumicino was not up to standards at all.
We haven’t been notified about the Italian strike or received any information that the flight will firstly be delayed and then cancelled.
May I point out that the three of us had already passed the security check and checked in along with all other passengers.
Since the flight FR1299 was cancelled, we had to go to the hotel in Athens and wait for Ryanair to tell us details about the other flight (still didn’t know about the strike).
Upon arriving at our destination, we had to wait for two hours, and had no idea where we were going. When we reached the hotel, it took us an hour to check in. We went to sleep around 2 am in the morning.
That other flight was scheduled on the following day at 19:00 EET from Athens to Rome Fiumicino.
Of course, we couldn’t be in Croatia that day or sadly the day after because there were no available cheaper tickets at all.
May I remind you that we had to stay in Rome one more day and spent a lot of money just waiting.
The problem here is that we didn’t manage to catch our other flight to Croatia FR1041 at 7:35 am CET on the 7th of June 2022
The booking was Ryanair and Kiwi.com
We lost a total 2 days in Greece and Italy for no reason and not any explanation at first.
The flight attendants informed us that the flight FR1299 was cancelled due to bad weather which is not correct since it was an Italian strike.
I am very disappointed with Rynair because we were told that we will receive compensation for the flight we didn’t manage to get on time (and that is not our fault), and would like a refund for our flight to Zadar (Croatia) and for the cancelled flight from Athens to Rome.
It wasn’t a connecting flight, but both carriers are Ryanair, and Lea, Lana and I missed a flight to Croatia due to Italian strike that occurred and no notification from Ryanair or Kiwi.com

According to the law, should receive full compensation for the flight we didn’t manage to get on time in Croatia FR1041, and for the cancelled flight from Athens to Rome FR1299.
