Booking.com claims that they refunded the amount paid for a stay in Australia and that I withdrew the funds. I’ve checked in with every account for the dates they say the funds were refunded and none have any record of that amount coming in. I booked a stay through booking.com with a hotel in Australia. The hotel canceled the reservation and booking.com said that the hotel would have to process the refund. The property never answers phone calls and doesn’t seem to have another means of reaching them. Booking.com now says that they refunded the amount paid for the accommodations and claims that I withdrew the funds. This is simply untrue. I have two bank accounts and neither have any record whatsoever of this refund coming in to the account.
