E-Z Mart — False Advertising

Went in to purchase WD-40, the price tag showed $5.99 but it rang up for $7.99, when I pointed it out to the cashier she stated that another customer must have put it in the wrong spot. I then went and grabbed the inventory sticker so that I could show her and she said it doesn’t matter. The price is whatever it rings up for that it is illegal to change the price that it rings up for. She got an attitude as soon as I mentioned the price difference. I stated to her that it was illegal to not honor the price advertised and that it was false advertising. She then proceeded to get extremely rude and argumentative saying that Walmart doesn’t even honor the prices marked, it cost whatever it rings up for a period, take it or leave it. Being that it was currently the only store open I had to choose since I needed it to do work on my car so that it would be able to make it home. Honor the advertised price, check the marked prices of products in the store any time there is a price increase and make sure that you hire workers that have knowledge of customer service!!!! Clearly, this lady hasn’t ever worked customer service having an attitude like this one!!!!
