This company is a rip off. I ordered some furniture from Arrowhead Wood through Etsy on September 26, 2012. I was told that my furniture would be ready to ship in 8 to 12 weeks. In the past seven months I have repeatedly contacted customer support to ask when my furniture will be shipped. On February 12, 2013 after not returning my phone calls for several days, I received an email stating that they had been sick and that my furniture was nearly ready and would be shipped the week of February 22nd. On March 5th, I received an email stating that they had been sick again and that my furniture would be shipped at the end of the week. On April 5, 2013 I called and was told my furniture would be ready to ship on the 18th. It’s now been six months and I don’t have any furniture so I canceled the order. I received an email from Arrowhead requesting that I confirm my cancelation. I was told that my refund process in 7 to 14 days. It has been 14 days and I have not been issued a refund. I contacted Arrowhead Wood again and received a terse reply that it was 7 to 14 BUSINESS days and a calendar was attached showing when the 14 days would occur. (Really? A calendar??? I sent them $4,400 and they emailed me a calendar like I’m an idiot) I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they will give me my refund but after repeatedly hearing that my furniture was “almost ready to ship” for six months, I’m skeptical. Being told that I have to wait 14 business days for my refund to process is sounding a lot like “your furniture will ship at the end of the week”. I hope this warning helps another consumer avoid the problems I’ve had with this company for the last seven months. Their furniture looks great but the more reviews I have read, the more I think I’ve been scammed. There are a couple of recent negative reviews on Etsy and the owner disputed it so I know I’m not alone in this. I’d like to add that I’ve done a lot of online shopping and have never had such a bad experience. I’ve bought everything from jewelry to cars to furniture online and this is the worst I’ve ever been ripped off. 99% of the people who do business online are reputable and honest but Arrowhead Wood is neither.
