In April of 2019, I took my Isuzu truck to Frank Bobo’s Record Service to have my engine rebuilt. The price quoted was $5400. Repairs took over four months; therefore, not getting my truck back until August. When I went to pick up my truck it was leaking oil so they kept the truck another week. The second time I picked up the truck, I took it to my shop and did not drive it until the next day. That day my truck cut off and Frank Bobo’s Record Service sent a mechanic to me. The mechanic said the injectors went bad. I was told the engine was under warranty for two years. At the end, the total cost of the repair was $7200. I was out of $7200 and a truck and asked for and was given $1500 while they repaired the engine. After keeping my truck another month, I was told they would not repair it because the truck ran hot. I had just gotten the truck that had been repaired by them. This is my business truck for my lawn-care service and not having my truck has caused a huge financial setback. I have been unable to complete scheduled jobs in a timely manner. I have also incurred towing expenses of having my truck towed to other repair businesses.
