My car broke down, and I took it to the services department, the service department had my car for a few days. I got told that it needed to go to KIA. I was stressed out and very upset because they had me turn my rental in, and that left me with no car. When they mentioned towing I explained how I was upset because it was going to have to get the car towed all the way to KY. My advisor said “Don’t worry about it, we will tow it for you, we got you” when I was told that I assumed they were paying for the towing cost. After I picked up my car from Kia I was charged a $128 dollar towing fee. When I could of got it towed for cheaper. The service department DID, put a new battery in my car and let me keep it and refunded me my total price for the battery. I found out that it wasn’t a battery and it was JUST a fuse I didn’t have my car or rental for two weeks because of a fuse. I feel as if they should have paid for the tow since it was their mistake/problem.
