Back in December of 2002, someone gained access to my PP account and fraudulently charged roughly $5,000 to my credit card. I immediately contacted my credit card company and also contacted Pay Pal. Pay Pal’s response was to immediately freeze my account.
I didn’t have a problem with this, since it made sense until we could ensure the account was secure, they also DE CHOSE TO REVERSE ALL OF MY RECENT Pay Pal transactions. Since it was Xmas time, I had purchased a few items on eBay as gifts and these transactions were all reversed.
The next 3 months were a nightmare while I tried like **** to contact a human being at Pay Pal and get it straightened out. Meanwhile, the sellers that I had bought from on eBay thought that I was trying to scam them. It was incredibly frustrating. Not only that, but I had a couple of hundred dollars of MY money in my PP account at the time that I was unable to access for over 3 months. Pay Pal SUCKS!!
