Since Mike Reeves proclaimed to live by the Rubicon Oilfield Internationals he created, I must live by one and not sit back quietly any longer. How can a man who claims to be so ethical screw over his company and his employees as he walks out the door after the sale to Adam Anderson? While laying off over 900 people in the company over the last 4 years Mike will walk out with approximately $3.4M comprised of a ~$1M transition bonus, 2 years of severance and a grossly inflated payout. He also gave his best friend Dr. Martin Perez an outsized ex-patriot package to relocate to Mexico and also paid over $60K for a private plane for his family to fly in comfort as he continued to layoff employees claiming the company did not have enough cash. Mike is a shining example of the ethical businessman he claimed to be walking away with a nice parachute while his investors and ex-partners get nothing.
