We spent what was a lot of hard-earned money on us to buy a Sentry Fire Safe. The motto on the Sentry Safe sales page even to this day is safe for “peace of mind for a lifetime”. We only owned the safe for 10 years stored it in a closet with no abuse whatsoever and the door fell completely off the safe on the floor. A “lifetime” safe has to be obviously very defective for the door to fall completely off without reason. We have contacted Master Lock Company, LLC who owns Sentry Safes on at least 5 occasions asking only that they replace the defective item but they refuse to back their product despite all their claims about it being “for a lifetime”. We are not trying to get rich or cheat anybody…all we want is the safe replaced with a working safe that we paid good money for in full. They did offer a 35% discount toward a different safe or to send a different safe if we pay a third as much in shipping as we paid for the first safe but that is not fair…we have already paid full price for a safe that the door doesn’t fall off of and that is what we should have without having to spend more.
